One of Europe's leading research and development centres

Our global research and development centre was inaugurated in 2007. This separate building covering around 3,000 square metres is sited next to our head office in Arvika, Sweden. Over 30 engineers work here, focusing on creating high-tech, energy-efficient solutions for tomorrow.

The centre has special climate and sound rooms that can reproduce all the climate conditions, ranging all the way from the tropical to the arctic, that we must be able to master if we are to supply heat pumps all over the world.

Our research and development centre comprises:

  • One of the most modern climate halls in Europe
  • A sound-insulated hall to measure sound levels (dB) in soft conditions (sound is absorbed by the surroundings)
  • A sound-insulated hall to measure sound levels (dB) in hard conditions (sound rebounds from the surroundings)
  • The latest equipment for development of mechanics and electronics
