The Thermia museum - going back in time

Thermia museumHow about a trip down memory lane? In this instance to view a veteran car, motorbike or even a heat pump.

In the same premises from which Thermia operated from 1923 to 1968 the company now has an exhibition of its history. Boilers, ovens and wood-fired hot water tanks from the past century sit side by side with modern heat pumps. Over the years they have all provided heat for our homes as technology has progressed.

Did you know that Thermia produced its first heat pump in the 1970s? Or that there are heat pumps that have operated for over 4 million km? At the Thermia Museum you can follow the development of Thermia's products and business.

The company was founded in the same year, 1889, that the Eiffel Tower was inaugurated. Our heat pump empire started as an ironsmiths that soon became Arvika Verkstäder, producing energy-efficient ovens.
