Air conditioning

A heat pump from Thermia is a complete climate system that provides heat in the winter and cools in the summer. When we install a heat pump for you, you also have the opportunity of receiving both a heat pump for your property and air conditioning. This provides pleasant heat when you need it and comfortable coolness when that is needed. If you already have a heat pump in your house, it is straightforward for us to supplement the existing installation with the possibility of cooling, so that you can also benefit from the coolness from the bore hole.

How to spread cool air through your house

The principle is simple. In the winter, the heat pump upgrades ”the heat” in the bore hole to a pleasant room temperature and in the summer the cool air (7-14 degrees) in the same borehole is used to obtain a comfortable temperature in a sun drenched and hot house, air conditioning in other words. Principle for extracting the coolness from the bore hole is the same regardless of the distribution system. Put simply, your heat pump becomes air conditioning in the summer.

For waterborne systems with radiators

If you have water borne radiator system, you can supplement it with several quiet running fan elements in those rooms you want cooled (air conditioned), for example, bedrooms and reception rooms. Our solution also allows constant temperatures in larders and wine cellars. The principle is that rather than going into the normal waterborne system, one uses a separate system. In this system, the fluid from the bore hole circulates via the heat pump to Thermia fan convector(s) and is then returned to the bore hole. There is also the possibility of connecting the system to the intake air in the house’s ventilation system. In this way your heat pump can be used as air conditioning.
